Having served 32 years in the police service and being a police dog trainer, I have undertaken first aid training many times and completed a first aid at work course on 4 previous occasions and always found the course tedious and uninteresting. The course run by Lance was quite the opposite I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a course more Lance’s teaching methods was brilliant, he involved all participants, his knowledge of the subject was fantastic, and he taught us all so much. The three days passed so quickly, and I enjoyed every one of them and I learnt so much more than on any other first aid course I have undertaken. Being an instructor myself I know how hard teaching can be, Lance was a natural at it and I will be certainly pinching some of his teaching methods and style and putting them into my field of training.

The course was very informative and the instructor gave some great advice from a long career. The instructor was very engaging to each of us and was open to questions and offered real world situations for each technique shown. This along with the general humour made a lot of the information sink in better than just raw info/techniques.

I attended the one day First aid course. I have to say it is the best one I have attended over the years. I came away feeling that I learnt so much. Lance was excellent in providing the invaluable knowledge/ skills and training required.
